With great sorrow, we regret to announce the death of our fellow member, Ms Mary Mayanja, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, UK .
Funeral arrangements are still underway. Ms Mary Mayanja joined Shirikisho on January 22, 2024, and was assigned membership number 3449.
As is our custom, we kindly request that members who can offer their condolences to the bereaved family. The leadership team has agreed that each member’s contribution toward the funeral expenses will be £3.50.
Mary's next of kin is her sister, Fatuma Msumbuga.
